Jenny>> paid apss are into the german market. But not moxier mail??? do you have a other download site outside market?
Barry on May 21, 2009 at 4:32 AM
I noticed I could get round the error by connecting first time over wifi as apposed to grps. This seemed to let the application work. Subsequently, it now works over gprs, I just had to use wifi to get over that first setup.

Hi,
I really like the look of this application and would like to buy. I thought I would try the trial to be safe; when I enter my server details, I am getting a message "Your exchange server may be using an earlier ActiveSync version" however, I am actually using Exchange server 2007. I can provide urls and screenshots if required, please assist, if this app works I will be rolling it out to my sales team.

Stefan>> Since paid apps are now available in Germany, I'm sure you can search/download paid apps on your HTC Magic (unless it's a dev phone...).
Jodi>> Are you using the Free Trial version? Because the free trial version limits sync date to 3 days. Unless you buy the proper version, there's no option for that. Or, why not try the newly postd free trial version extendd 'till May 31st? The free trial version is now available at the Android Market (this also has 3 day limitation, but it may give you a fresh new start).

I am testing products for sync'ing to our exchange server and so far this is my favorite. I have some interface suggestions, do you have a mechanism for capturing these ideas or should I just post them back here in the public forum?

I've updated and now the new version 1.1 has stopped working - and has not worked for 3+ days: " The application Moxier Mail 1.1 (process com.moxier.mail) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. " Help, I need this to work !!! Jodi

Andreas... in the original beta of Moxier the alert icon in the notification bar disappeared regardless of how you entered the app. This seems to have changed in the final beta and release(?) version so that you had to launch the app from the notification bar to make it disappear. I have know idea why they changed this.

Love the latest version; the way contacts and GAL is integrated is pretty slick; however, without the full contacts/phone contacts integration and calendar the winner is Touchdown. I am excited about doing a comparison between the two as soon as the Calendar and Tasks are implemented. One suggestion I would like to see incorporated is the removal of the notification icon in the notification bar as soon as the program opens. When opening up the program from the home screen the notification remains. Would like to see that cleared upon program start. Moxier definitely has potential, but is not quite there yet...

I am testing touchdown too. but it's kind of slow and it seems more resource consuming also . same max mail size could not be set for mail downloads. I still hope that I will use android as a business phone but every application which worked flawless in win mobile takes a lot of time to develop on android market.

Actually, paid apps can appear for Android Dev Phones, it's PROTECTED apps that can't. Moxier has chosen to sell Moxier mail as a protected app. Personally I think the DRM on Android is silly, but if Moxier wants to limit their market, so be it. Take a look at TouchDown... yu can buy their app on a ADP1.

Hello,
I need to test contact/calendar too . does them sync with phone contacts/calendar? could the format be preserved for phone numbers like one big number (no dashes in numbers) ? (my BMW carkit does not recognize phone numbers with dashes). is there a way to limit the message size to be first downloaded in push mode? I have tried a lot of android market products (push mail also) and a lot of them have still plenty of bugs.
Thanks, Roland

Roland/Alex>> Paid apps don't appear on Android Dev Phones. You can try the Free trial 'till My 31st for a peak though (since free apps work~) Thanks for your interest though. We will shortly get the paypal ready on our site to cater everyone.
Andrew>> For free demo, like Roland and Alex, just search Moxier Mail in the Android Market and download/try the free trial until May 31st.
Stefan>> I will get back to you on that issue... I am not sure if paid apps work on German Android Markets. Hold your thoughts please~~

Alex on May 16, 2009 at 8:05 PM
I wanted to buy Moxier mail but am unable to find Moxier mail on the android market on my ADP1 phone.
Ideas?

I too would like to demo it first. Just for a day or two to test performance and to make sure it will work with my company exchange server.
thanks,
Andrew
