Moxier Mail Release Update

To all our Moxier fans, we would like to thank you for supporting us during our development of our Full Version of Moxier Mail. Your support through emails and surveys played a big and important role in enhancing our features from the beta.

Since we released the beta in February, 2009, our Moxier Mail team has put in a lot of effort to develop the full version of Moxier Mail by the end of March. Unfortunately, we are afraid to announce that we need little more time to bring you a better and enhanced Exchange Email program that you can trust and rely on. We sincerely apology for the delay and Moxier Mail will be available for you in April (the date will be announced soon).

However, our development schedule is on track and the features you will see are very much enhanced compared to the beta version. In addition, you will notice that the program is more secure than before - which is always a plus in the corporate mail environments.

And while you are waiting for the full version to be released, we would like to share with you some of the important features included in the full version:

Account Wizard

Moxier Mail supports Auto Discover to simplify the setup process when connecting to Exchange 2007. All you need is an Email address, ID and a Password, and you are done!

When connecting to Exchange 2003, we need a little more information about your server. But we promise you, it’s simple, quick, and easy.

In your mail list, you can now multi-select! For example, you can move any number of emails to another folder or delete them all at once.

At the same time, you can sync all your folders from the server – or choose the folder you want to sync from the server.

Next is our email screen. As shown below, Moxier Mail provides HTML and Inline images. Features like Reply All, Attachments and Attachment Downloads are all available. You can also Zoom In & Out in your email.

And this screen shows what our users always wanted to have – Contacts. Moxier Mail provides contacts from your Android phone as well as from your Exchange Server in a grouped form. You will notice that using your Moxier Mail Contacts is so simple and convenient that you will never want to use another email program.

When you begin to enter a recipient's name, our search string automatically finds a match. Just browse and select!

We've also integrated Signature and Sync options into Moxier Mail's full version. You can edit and save your own Signature right on Moxier Mail. And choose from Auto, Manual and Scheduled Sync options to suit your everyday needs.

We ask for your understanding as we get ready for our public release. We once again apologize for the delay and will update you when the release date is set.

Thank you.

How much will the full version cost? That will be the deal breaker for Touchdown.

Hi - What happenned to the fuller version beta on the Android market (the one with separate in box and sent mail)? I was using it and got a message that the beta expired. I could no longer access it and when I downloaded it again from the market the version i got was the earlier beta with less features. Is the other one still available? - Tony

Will the full version support calendar? This is critical for me..

Dear Moxier Mail users! Thank you for all your comments and support!! As per your requests, Moxier Mail Beta 2 is now available in the Android market until April 30th, 2009. This is for your use in the interim until full version is released!

Once again we seek for your understanding as we do our last check up in development for a solid product for your use.

Feel free to leave your comments or email us at contact@moxier.com!

Chris>> Private CA is to be supported in the full version which will solve the problem you are experiencing.

Arsh>> No application on a mobile environment can provide limitless email sizes. We, too, will have some sort of size limitation but will not be small as 5K. We are trying our best to extend the size limit to the maximum. And lastly, you will have an option to choose from: 1day, 3days, 1week, 2weeks, 1month. No limitation will be provided in later version.

Mason>> Private CA is to be supported in the full version which will solve the problem you are experiencing.

El Guapo>> I will pass this on for possible consideration :)

Andy>> Due to security reasons, our released version will only allow attachments to SD. Later version will allow saving messages to SD.

NICE, I can wait for the full version if it means more feats. Calendar sync would be complete dominance over all other apps in the market. So far so good though no complaints from me

Having a fully released version will be great but what about in the mean time? Could you just extend the beta version, please?

Chris on Mar 31, 2009 at 1:31 PM

Can it be that moxier doesn't connect if the ssl certificate provided by the web access is not signed by a official CA? Is there a way to get around this limitation?

hallow on Mar 31, 2009 at 11:04 AM

1) Calendar Please! 2) So far, I love this app. Looking forward to the full version. Will be buying on release day!

Arsh on Mar 31, 2009 at 10:43 AM

My question are re: the limitations of the content:

1) Is the full version going to allow for larger email sizes to be sent and read?

2) Are we going to have the option to have emails in our inbox for a longer time. Currently, the program only recover a couple of days worth of email.

Mason on Mar 31, 2009 at 10:39 AM

Are you going to have full ActiveSync support for certificates as well?

El Guapo on Mar 31, 2009 at 9:14 AM

Please make an option to have black lettering on white background. The color scheme as shown makes me cringe.

Basically, make it look more like the GMail app or even the touchdown app.

Black on white PLEASE!

Andy on Mar 31, 2009 at 7:58 AM

If you will actually look at the description in the marketplace you see that the beta has been extended to April 30th.

Personally I can hardly wait since it will store the email on the SD card so I can stop using the PC exchange client except when necessary.

Brian on Mar 31, 2009 at 7:37 AM

update in the market today, I notice no difference however. Take your time with the full version, the more solid it is, the better. Will it support calendar? Hopefully the price tag isnt too steep...

Rob on Mar 31, 2009 at 7:23 AM

I agree, this is the only app that I can use for exchange email. I very much would like to keep the beta running until the full release can be purchased. Can you please extend it.

Steven Hoff on Mar 31, 2009 at 7:09 AM

Yes. I really need my Exchange mail on my phone. I'm planning on purchasing the the full version when it comes out. I don't want to lose the beta in the mean time. Could the beta be extended since the full release is not available yet?

Thanks!

Will the full version support calendar?

doug on Mar 31, 2009 at 4:49 AM

Is the beta going to stay available until the full version is ready? I'd hate to lose my mail in the interim.

Doug
