Hey guys!
Moxier Mail 1.3 is now available at the Android market! Our current Moxier Mail users can get their 1.3 update directly from their Android G1 by using the system notification.
At this time, I would like to present to you the new features we have integrated into Moxier Mail 1.3.
Once you download Moxier Mail 1.3, you will notice that you also get 3 extra applications along with Moxier Mail. They are:
Moxier Contacts
Moxier Contacts provides 2-way synchronization with your Exchange Contacts, supports contact photos with the option of copying exchange contacts to Android’s built-in Contacts, and more.
Moxier Calendar
Moxier Calendar provides 2-way synchronization with your Exchange Calendar and provides easy access to calendars, events, notifications, alerts, and more.
Moxier Sync
Moxier Sync acts as the sync manager (for Moxier Mail, Contacts, and Calendar applications) and provides exchange account options, sync options, and settings options.
Note: These three new applications will appear in your home screen when Moxier Mail 1.3 is successfully downloaded.
Moxier Mail 1.3 requires the following:
- Android™ Smartphone
- Firmware 1.5 or higher (Android 1.5, Cupcake)
- GPRS or an Internet connection
As mentioned in our previous posting, Moxier Mail 1.3 will only install on an Android 1.5 environment or higher. Thus, if you still haven’t had your Android 1.5 Cupcake update, please visit the links in the previous posting for more information.
And here are some sneak peaks to our new applications:
Moxier Contacts
Moxier Calendar
Moxier Sync
Enjoy and thanks for your support!

reinstalling seems to have addressed the issue but was it necessary?

Hey for the first time I have a problem with Moxier mail. For the last 20 hours, I get Moxier Mail 1.5 process com.moxier.mail has stopped uxexpectedly. Please try again. Force close.
Repeatedly reboots don't fix it. What's up?
Jenny on Jul 15, 2009 at 1:51 AM
Sasha>> Sometimes, e-mails are better for quicker response. We always appreciate your feedback with bug reports. In regards to the issue you've mentioned here, this has been the timezone calculation error and is fixed. It will be, however, implemented in our upcoming versions. Thanks Sasha!

Mike>> Exchange server 2010 is coming up in our upcoming version :D As we get more information, we will let our users know.
Dan>> Do you still have problems with missing folers? Are your missing folders your Inbox subfolders? Or, something different like Outbox/Draft/etc.?
Plus, space in between the original text and new message has been fixed. It will be implemented in our upcoming vesion.

Just installed the update... Thanks for adding calendar. Things are working great.
Eliran on Jul 2, 2009 at 5:38 AM
Can you tell which languges are supported by Moxier latest version ?
Mike on Jul 2, 2009 at 12:17 AM
..and I mention Exchange 2010 because the Moxier app complained about 'server version too old' or similar, which makes me think the app is checking for certain version numbers such as 2000, 2003 or 2007, and 2010 is not currently included in that list of checked strings.
Mike on Jul 1, 2009 at 11:28 PM
Is Exchange Server 2010 support coming in a future version? Tried to sync to a 2010 server, and kept getting auth failures. Outlook 2007 using the same credentials works just fine.

Like some others have reported. I am having sync issues with the contacts and calendar. Initial sync worked i.e. when I installed version 1.3. but the moxier has failed to sync since then.
Hope a fix is forthcoming.

Dan,
I've solved my sync issues by re-installing the software. Hope that solves it for you.

Hi,
I note the comments from Dan, specifically the observation that contacts are not updating from Outlook to ‘phone. I have the same issue with my calendar and also with my contacts.
In both cases a new contact or event on the ‘phone is updated in Outlook but not in the reverse direction.
The Outlook – ‘phone sync worked upon installation but, no longer. I’m running version 1.3.1.1 on a Google G1 with firmware 1.5 and I wonder if a recent update to Moxier mail is associated with this issue?
Cheers,
Bob

As others have said, the Moxier interface is spectacular and it's a pleasure to work with. However, I'm having a couple pretty serious issues--issues that make Moxier an unworkable solution for me unless they are fixed.
Not all of my folders of email are visible on Moxier. I don't know how or why certain folders are not included but others are. Excluding calendars and contacts, I have 31 folders on Outlook, but on Moxier Mail 1.3 I only see 12. Why would this be? I need to be able to access all of my folders!
My calendar is somehow not syncing from Outlook to my phone. I had my syncing set to push, yet starting yesterday, whenever I make a change to my Outlook calendar it never appears on my phone, despite attempting all sorts of workarounds (e.g. "Sync Now," changing syncing to manual, changing syncing to polling, etc.). My calendar is now way out of sync and I have no way of getting it to sync again properly. (Though, I would note, inputting an event on the phone does cause the event to appear properly on my Outlook calendar on my desktop.) Please advise.
Also, a much less mission-critical thing: when using the "reply" function, there is no distinction between the text entered by the user and the text of the original email being replied to. If you don't have a signature, that causes a lot of confusion. Please add a line like "On 6/27/09, John Smith Wrote:" above the original email so that it is clearly distinguished from the reply.

Hi there,
it seems I will get a faster response if I post bugs here instead sending a mail..
There is still a problem in the calendar with existing repeating appointments. They are shown one hour later (CEST). New repeating appointments shown correctly.
Also appointments coming up once a year (i.e birthday) are shown on three days. Have sent screenshot for this.
When do you think you can fix that? I don`t want to delete all appointments and set them up again to see them corrctly..
Cheers, Sasha

Moxier Mail 1.3 keeps crashing on me with Cupcake, only when I read certain emails. I uninstalled and reinstalled and reconfigured Moxier but had the same problems with the same emails. The message is: "The application Moxier Mail 1.3 (process com.moxier.mail) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I don't think there's anything about these emails that makes them different from my other emails. Are there any bugs you know about that could be causing this?
Jason on Jun 25, 2009 at 12:16 AM
I purchased 1.3 and I like it; however, there are couple features I'd like to see added:
1.) When replying to an email, it doesn't append on the header for the email that you're replying to. If you don't put in some type of separator yourself, it's very confusing to the reader to determine where your response ends and the other email starts
2.) It'd be super helpful to be able to search emails (using ActiveSync's built-in search capabilities). The search should allow you to search through emails regardless of whether they have been downloaded to the device. Would be helpful to show the first 100 characters of the content of the email as well to determine if it's the one you're looking for.
Thank you, Jason

Thanks, I installed the application and it works great. It would be nice if both the calander and contacts could be synced to the default contacts/calander (or I could not find the option for this).
Jenny on Jun 24, 2009 at 7:19 PM
Dan>> The shared-feature is unavailable on Moxier Mail (potocol doesn't support so) and we don't have this feature in our agenda for the upcoming versions of Moxier Mail. Sorry!!!
Dan on Jun 24, 2009 at 1:57 PM
I just purchased Moxier Mail 1.3, and it's mostly working well, but I can't figure out how to view my boss's calendar, which is shared to me. It appears in the calendar list in Outlook, but it doesn't appear in the list of available calendars on my phone. Could you please let me know if there's something I can do to make this work? Or is this a feature you'll be adding in the future? Thanks.
Ally on Jun 24, 2009 at 1:28 PM
Vladimir>> Unfortunately, Moxier Mail’s Trial version has expired. At this time, Moxier Mail 1.3 (paid version) is available at the Android Market. According to the Google’s Refund Policy, you have 24 hours (from the time of purchase) to return the purchased item for full refund. So please feel free to try Moxier Mail 1.3.

Is it possible to merge the exchange calendar with the google calendar?
Vladimir on Jun 23, 2009 at 2:49 AM
Hi, I tried several tools to sync with Exchange and had no luck with most of them. I would like to test this tool also before buying it. In the Android Market I can only directly download/install the payed version. Is there a trail version available to test it before I buy the app? Thanks.
Franco on Jun 18, 2009 at 5:59 AM
Ally>> Thanks for your feedback. Let's hope Google replies soon regarding the Market "application not showing up" issue. Thanks.
Ally on Jun 17, 2009 at 10:25 AM
Franco>> OK. We have checked the Android Market from our end, and Moxier Mail 1.3 seems to be clearly showing. If applications do show/not show by Android market by countries... then this may be the Android bug… we’ll need contact the Android Market to see what’s happening but they're really slow in feedback but let's try again. Thanks for letting us know! We’ll share with you guys as soon as we get their feedback.
Ally on Jun 16, 2009 at 7:10 PM
Barry>> The appointments error seems to occur due to the Summer Time Zone. We will fix the error soon for the next update which will occur shortly. We would like to seek for your patience.
Franco on Jun 16, 2009 at 2:26 PM
Ally>> did you see my comment on Jun 16, 2009 at 2:07 AM (it shows as if I put it earlier than your first reply, but that was somehow caused by time difference)
Ally on Jun 16, 2009 at 1:18 PM
Barry>> This issue has been fwd to our Development Team and they will look into the issue. We will let you know as soon as we get their feedback.
Ally on Jun 16, 2009 at 9:10 AM
Franco, Chs>> We have checked our transaction record and it did not show your name on the list. Have you purchased under someone else’s name or are you using the Trial version? If you are using the Trial, Moxier Mail won’t appear in the search result due to expiration. For Moxier Mail 1.3, you need to own a paid version (please make sure you uninstall the previously owned Moxier Mail. Android 1.5 (cupcake) update is a must).
Franco on Jun 16, 2009 at 2:07 AM
Ally >> I never bought this because I was waiting to evaluate the 1.3 version, as I need both ways contacts and calendar syncing too. I already uninstalled the trial version of previous 1.1 version long ago. So this is not a problem with expiration. In any case, I should still be able to "see" Moxier Mail in the market place. Also, I do have cupcake, as I own a HTC Magic (android 1.5). I should be able to see the Moxier mail 1.3 on the market place (either trial or full paid for version). It simply is not there. This must be a problem with market place. In fact, there are lods of users out there with a similar issue, although with different apps that some phones can see and some other phoneswith same android version cannot see.
chs on Jun 15, 2009 at 2:55 AM
Hello,
For me too, the app seems to disappearing from the market. Have you url ?
Barry on Jun 15, 2009 at 1:23 AM
Bug.
I live in UK and my time is now GMT + 1 (British Summer Time) Its not syncing my recurring appointments and adding an hour to them.
So my meeting set for 14.30 - 15.30 actually sync's 15.30 - 16.30... I could miss something if its recurring.
Franco on Jun 14, 2009 at 8:45 AM
On my HTC Magic (cupcake 1.5) original vodafone ROM, Moxier Mail is gone from the market place. I cannot try the new Moxier 1.3 version I so was waiting for... It seems that disappearing apps from the Market is a widespread issue and it is affecting Moxier Mail on my device at the moment. Please, look into this or provide a downloadable apk file from somewhere else (url?)

I am having problems with Calendar sync. Time zone is not resolved correctly. Meetings are missing; some due to time zone resolution; some do not reflect changes made after the meeting was accepted.
I have seen others notes in the forum - it appears there is a work around/solution. Please let me know
